This VW3A3303 card will include a DB9 9 pin connector so the customer and use the existing cable and put it into the new option card. The ATV71 drives control mode can be set for 8 Series mode and all of the old ATV58 modbus words will work in the ATV71 drive making for simple conversion.
Option 2: You can splice an RJ-45 connector on your network cable, making sure to match the pin-out of the DB9 9-pin connection with the pin-out of the RJ-45 connection.
Option 3: Try and find a third party company who sells a DB9 to RJ45 connector you will need to make sure the pin outs will match up from the old DB9 to the new RJ45 connection.
