How do I display cable information on the selectivity graph in EcoSet Design?
EcoSet Design allows users to display cable characteristics directly within the Curves and Selectivity graph, providing additional information to support protection and cable coordination studies.
To display cable information:
- Open the Curves and Selectivity window.
- Click the Display Options (Eye) icon located in the top-right corner of the window.
- Enable the Cable checkbox.
Once enabled, the graph displays key cable characteristics, including:
- Cable designation
- Insulation type (for example, XLPE)
- Conductor material (Copper or Aluminium)
- Conductor size
Displaying cable information helps users:
- Verify cable selection and sizing.
- Evaluate cable thermal withstand capability during fault conditions.
- Compare cable characteristics against protection device settings.
