Maximum number of write operations on CF card for XBTG/GT range ?

Goals and Symptoms

What is the maximum number of write operations that the Telemecanique CF cards can handle before they die ?

Causes and Fixes

We have seen some of customers using the CF card to store historical alarms very frequently. In some cases more than 25000 writing cycles per month
Normally the CF could be used for some thousand times. But we have notice, when this limit is reach, some disfunction on writing the file could happen. The written file is always blocked on a certain size
With the product manger, we had took this recommendation to use the CF card for approximately hundred thousand time writing cycle. This limit is to guaranty the efficiency of the CF card.
