Issue
The purpose of this resolution is to inform STB users of a point regarding hot swapping the islands I/O modules.

Resolution
STB design does not allow hot-swapping of an I/O module if there is only one module in the island. The same is true if you have multiple modules and you remove all of them prior to replacing one. The NIM will enter fatal error and require a power cycle to resume operation once the module is replaced.
