Issue
Attempts to import a Unity application into Web Designer, returns a 'Could not import' error.
Product Line
Web Designer....all versions
Environment
Windows 10
Resolution
If you try to import a Unity application into Web Designer, a 'Could not import' error gets returned. The
reason why this can occur is because: -Web Designer can only import a Unity application with a version
that matches with the Unity version that is installed on the PC. The import function is performed using the
'.dlls' that are installed by Unity. Each different version of Unity also installs a different version of the '.dlls.'
To resolve the issue, ensure that the version of Unity is installed on the PC matches with the Unity version
that was used to develop the application that before they attempting the import.
Note: If Unity is not installed on the PC, then the appropriate version will need to be installed first.
