Issue:
What is the recommended screen resolution for SoMove?
Product Line:
SoMove
Resolution:
The recommended screen resolution for SoMove is 1024 x 768, with 96 DPI.
The latest version of SoMove, version 2.9.2, also support changes to the DPI settings within Windows. Supported DPI are 96 (100%) and 120 DPI (125%).
SoMove “remembers” the display settings from the previous time the software had been used.
It sometimes can occur that someone changes their screen resolution since the last time they launched SoMove and when they launch SoMove again with a different screen resolution a popup message will be seen in SoMove with regards to resolution settings.
Typically this error / message can be resolved by closing SoMove and deleting the file that “remembers” previous settings.
The file that “remembers” settings is located at C:\ProgramData\Schneider Electric\SoMove\2xxx\ShellWorkItem.state ( note that the folder 2xxx is based on the latest version of SoMove that is installed on the PC )
Locate the file ShellWorkItem.state and delete it.
The next time SoMove is launched a new file of the same name will be generated based on the current screen resolution settings.
