How do I always allow Ethernet Transfer on a Harmony HMIST6 or HMIGTU from EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert?

Article available in these languages: Spanish

Issue
After I have downloaded an application once from EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert v3.1, I am unable to download via Ethernet on all subsequent attempts without manually using the setting Ethernet Download from the Hardware Configuration Menu on the screen itself each time I want to download.
How does one allow Ethernet Transfer by default on the Harmony HMIST6 or HMIGTU for subsequent downloads?

Product Line
EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert v3.1+
Harmony HMIST6
Harmony HMIGTU

Environment
HMI configuration software for Windows

Resolution
To always allow Ethernet Transfer on a Harmony HMIST6 or HMIGTU for future downloads follow these steps:

1) In the EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert HMI configuration software, under the Project Explorer, left-click on Target01 to select the node.
The Properties screen will appear on the far right pane
2) Click on the Advanced Tab
3) In the Settings Sub-Tab, expand Preferences
4) Place a tickmark next to the checkbox labeled "Always Allow Ethernet Transfer"
5) Download the application to your HMI. This will result in the next subsequent download via Ethernet to be allowed.

Cybersecurity Note:
It is highly recommended to only use this feature to always allow download via Ethernet during the development of an application.
Once the application is completed and ready for deployment, place the Hardware Configuration screen behind a secure login and turn off this "Always Allow Ethernet Transfer" to disallow unintended access while the machine is in operation.
