The frame of the Symmetra unit is the main housing of all the removable modules (e.g. Power Module, Battery Module, Intelligence Module) of the whole unit build. This is the critical point of failure which is the main reason why this component is made to be robust. However, all products may it be from any brand would have its own life expectancy.

As related to public kbase FAQ000265093, the Symmetra frame is also expected to last 7 to 10 years. It is highly advised that we take advantage of the Trade UPS program if a if a Symmetra Frame is at 10 years or older.
