What does the "Function code not implemented" alarm in Geo SCADA mean?

This alarm, particularly prevalent with the DNP3 driver, usually indicates a discrepancy in the 'Unsolicited message' settings between your controller and Geo SCADA. It commonly appears when 'Unsolicited messages' are disabled in the controller but enabled in Geo SCADA.

How do I resolve this alarm?

Here are the troubleshooting steps:

  1. Disable Unsolicited Messages in Geo SCADA: In the outstation configuration within Geo SCADA, disable the "Unsolicited message" setting.Unsolicited
  2. Acknowledge the Alarm: If you've already disabled the setting, ensure you've acknowledged the alarm. Unacknowledged alarms will persist.

If the alarm continues after disabling the setting and acknowledging it, further investigation of the DNP3 logs will be required. Please contact support for help.
