Dynamic Line Rating and Interconnection Protection

Interconnection protection relays are designed for cost-effective, highly reliable protection of rotating machines. Within the same device, dynamic line rating (DLR) functionality can be used to also optimize line capacity (up to 50%) based on weather conditions, enabling more wind, solar or distributed generation (DG) to be connected to the grid.
