Issue:
Can the ATV312 be used as a phase converter?

Cause:
VFDs to be used as phase converters, to convert single phase line power to 3 phase line power.

Resolution:
Schneider offers the ATV312 that can be used to convert single phase line power to 3 phase output.  For selection: see the ATV312 quick start annex link below.

Using a drive as a phase converter is possible only for motors. DO NOT USE DRIVES FOR PHASE CONVERTER FOR MACHINES.
The "input phase loss detection" must be deactivated (IPL=no)
