To encourage the installation of electric vehicle (EV) chargers in non-landed private residences (NLPRs) such as condominiums and private apartments, Land Transport Authority (LTA) has introduced the Electric vehicle Common Charger Grant (ECCG).
ECCG will co-fund 2,000 EV chargers, only chargers with smart charging functions are eligible.
Owner of the chargers (EV charging operator or owner of NLPRs) can apply for ECCG to cover 50% (subjected to $4,000 cap) for three upfront cost components of charger installation:
• Charging system (e.g. charger equipment)
• Licensed electrical worker fees
• Cabling and installation costs (subject to $1,000 cap)
