GOALS AND SYMPTOMS
The purpose of this resolution is to provide users with an explanation of how to set the controller's clock from the Magelis terminal with Concept IEC logic.
CAUSES AND FIXES
In this example the first register for the controllers 'Time of Day' clock has been set to 401793.
The table above shows the eight TOD registers in the controller.
The table above shows the four TOD registers for the Magelis terminals.
The Magelis dialog table must be configured to include the function 'Set PLC Clock'. The four registers for the Magelis TOD are in this example 400100 - 400104.
The logic above moves the four TOD registers that are being sent form the Magelis into the controllers eight TOD registers.
The value in seconds, hour, month, etc are moved from the high / low byte into their respective registers in the controller TOD table.
