ION7550/ION7650 front panel phasor diagram tab values are different than revenue values on other tabs

Goals and Symptoms

Symptoms

    • The ION7550/7650 meter displays a consistent value for current across the displays but values such as power factor and phase angle can deviate from readings shown on other tabs such as 'Summary2'.

      Note: This only applies to meters with the NI Current Probe option.

Causes and Fixes

When ordering a non-intrusive (NI) current probe model of the ION7550/7650, some screens such as the phasor diagram tab do not use the calibrated readings of the probes. The phasor diagrams in this model are useful for diagnosing wiring issues, but for accurate readings, such as power factor, the values in the power meter module should be referenced.
