Download and install the simulator
Offline Meters, or meter simulators, are used on your Windows PC to emulate the meter hardware platform for the development and testing of meter application logic (a.k.a ION frameworks) using either ION Setup software or ION Enterprise Designer. Once the meter simulator is running, it can be accessed at the domain name "localhost" (127.0.0.1) with software on the same computer.
