With EcoStruxure Secure Connect Advisor, why a target such as HMIBMI/BMO is not visible as connected when set as equipment?
In case of a target such as HMIBMO HMIBMI is connected as equipment to a Site Manager such as HMIST6 or HMIBSC. The HMIBMI or HMIBMO is shows as "not connected", even if the target is correctly connected

This artible is applicable for EcoStruxure Secure Connect Advisor with HMIBMx using Windows 10 LTSB and LTSC

In order to shows the equiment connected, the windows firewall should allow the ping request. To do it, need to add a rules in the windows firewall to allow ICMPV4 (at least Echo Request)

Two method can be use

netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="ICMP Allow incoming V4 echo request" protocol=icmpv4:8,any dir=in action=allow

Using Windows Firewall With Advanced Security
Open Windows Firewall with Advanced Security
Right click on "Inbound Rules and click on New Rules

Then click on the option "Custom" and Next
Select "All programs" and Next

On the next page, select Protocal type = ICMPv4 and click on customize to select Echo Request

On the next page, you can select Any IP address and just specify the IP address, allow the connection, then choose the rule domain (domain, private or public)
Then just add the rule title to publish it
And the HMIBMI / HMIBMO will be visible as equipment in your GateManager
