Control Expert returns 'Failed to find a valid license' after activation of a floating license..
Examination of the file named 'License Manager_reg' shows:
ERROR: Failed to load TS, try to repair TS segment
ERROR: Failed to create transaction handle: Error: 51401
Found 1 fulfillments in Trusted Storage
The issue occurred due to the trusted storage in the PC to have been broken and the self-healing mechanism of the LMBrick is not able to fix it.
The solution would be to delete the trusted storage files and activate then all licenses again.
Use the following steps to delete the trusted license (Note: All license data on a PC are stored in the trusted storage files. By removing those files all licenses on a PC will get lost.)
- Open the Schneider Electric License Manager (LM).
- Record the Activation ID and part number..
- Select the and click on the Floating license checkbox.
- Click on 'Return' to return the license.
- Open the folder named 'C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet'.
- Delete the files named:
- schneide_0098df00_tsf.data
- schneide_8098df00_tsf.data
- schneide_0098df00_event.log
- schneide_8098df00_event.log
- schneide_0098df00_tsf.data_backup.001
- schneide_8098df00_tsf.data_backup.001.
- Reactivate the Floating license.
