Issue:
What is the alarm L.01 or L.02 on my SMC UPS LCD Screen?

Environment:
All models, All Serial Numbers

Cause:
When you see this alarm on the LCD of your UPS, this indicates the battery is near (L.01) end of life or has exceeded (L.02) end of life.

Resolution:
Press the MUTE button for 0.2 seconds to acknowledge the alarm.  Please contact Tech Support to replace the battery as soon as possible.
