Cause:
Starting in 2024, the newest Dell servers used for the Basic and Standard DCE appliances (R250) support "UEFI" but do not support the older "BIOS" boot option.

Please check server model using the Dell Service Tag for verification.

Resolution:
Because of the change in hardware, as of 7.9.2, DCE has been updated to use both the older "BIOS" and newer "UEFI" option when deploying on a new appliance.
Older versions of DCE were not programmed with the "UEFI" option and as such are unable to deploy on a newer appliance that only has that one option.

Schneider Electric recommends that you keep your DCE up to date as if you need to deploy a new appliance to transfer your configuration and have an existing appliance with an older version of DCE, you will not be able to deploy on the R250.
Future versions of the Enterprise AP9475 DCE server may also have similar limitations.
