Resolution:
An APC Smart-UPS Modular Ultra 5-20kW (UPS Frame) is capable of handling external battery frames (XR Frames) with additional BMs (Battery Modules). However, the number of battery modules it can support is limited by the number of PMs (Power Modules) present in the system.
If the maximum number of battery modules is exceeded, the power modules will not be able to supply enough power under all conditions to properly charge the battery modules.
There are 6 slots in the UPS frame and the maximum number of battery modules in the UPS frame is 6 minus the number of power modules installed.
