Unable to open RemoteConnect project with .RCZ extension - "Project files in the archive directory could not be removed"
If a user is unable to open an exported RemoteConnect program (.RCZ format) and a pop up window states the following - "Project files in the archive directory could not be removed". Proceed to close all RemoteConnect sessions where this project is open, verify that you have permissions to delete files in the current archive directory (ADMIN as example).
To remedy the challenge, ensure sure that you are the administrator of your PC and have permissions to delete files. Close all RemoteConnect applications, and then manually delete the .STU file in the directory where you are trying to open the exported file. For example, if you are opening the RemoteConnect program SampleProgram.RCZ file that is saved under the directory C:\Downloads and the above error occurred, open Windows Explorer, go to C:\Downloads, and delete the SampleProgram.STU file. Open the RemoteConnect application and try to open the RemoteConnect SampleProgram.RCZ file again.
