1.Open EAE Buildtime and load the EAE Solution currently running on your controller.
2. Navigate to the Deploy & Diagnostics tab.
3. Log in to the device.
4. Expand the Action tab for your controller, then go to Log File > Fetch log files to retrieve the files.
5. Wait for the message: "Fetching of log file successfully finished."
6. Close the Device Log Viewer pop-up window.
7. Locate the cyclic.log and device.log files in the following path (also see note c. below)
Documents\Schneider Electric\EcoStruxureAutomationExpertProjects\<project_folder(s)>\IEC61499\Log
8. Send both files to Technical Support.
NOTES:
a. This Knowledge Article was made based on EAE version 24.1.
b. For SoftdPAC HA configurations, log files should be fetched from the parent controller menu to ensure that the cyclic and device logs for both the left and right iPCs are retrieved. Make sure to send all four files to Technical Support.
c. The path to retrieve the log files from your controller can also be retrieved from the Device Log Viewer pop-up window, by:
- Clicking on File > Load Log
- In the Open Log file window, right click on the folder address and click on Copy address as text
- Open a File Explorer window, edit address and paste the one retrieved from the Log window. Press ENTER.
