How to obtain the Raw Status data from a Symmetra LX using the display

Product Line:

Symmetra LX

Enviroment:

All models, all serial numbers.

Cause:

In order to properly diagnose the equipment, the technical support agent may ask the user for the unit's Raw Status Data.

Resolution:

To navigate through the menu options available on your Symmetra LX device, the display has several buttons:

Scroll Keys	Name	Sound	Function
	Up	Short tone	Move the selection arrow up
	Down	Short tone	Move the selection arrow down
	Escape	Short tone	Exits the current screen and returns to the previous one. In programming mode only: When pressed until a short tone is heard (up to one second), exits programming mode.
	Help	Short tone	Open contextual help
	Enter	Short tone	Opens the selected menu item or setting

1. From the display, press the down button once to open the menu:

2. Press the same button 6 times until the cursor is next to the “Diags” option, then press Enter.

3. The following menu will open. Press the down button three times until the cursor is positioned on the “Pwr Modules” option, then press Enter.

4. The following menu will appear. Use the down button to scroll to the option “Rev, SN, Mfg Date” and press enter.

The following screen will appear with information about the firmware version, serial number, and date of manufacture of the power module, share this information with your Technical Support Agent, it will be useful to properly diagnose your unit.

Pressing the ESC button will return you to the previous screen to select another option.

5. To reach the Raw Status Data option, press down once more and press the enter button to select the desired option.

The following screen will open with information. Take note of the information displayed or take a photograph of it and share it with your technical support agent.

6. Press the ESC button to return to the previous menu, move the cursor to the “Pwr Module 1 of 5” option, and press enter.

The cursor will move to the side of the power module number for which you want to view the information.

7. Press the up button to change the module number for which you want to obtain information, and press enter to confirm your selection.

At that point, the cursor will return to its original position, and you will be able to scroll through the menu to select other options.

Repeat steps 5 through 7 until you have all the Raw Status Data from the power modules installed in your Symmetra LX.
