How do I perform a “Cold Start” on a Smart‑UPS SURT15KVA or SURT20KVA?

Resolution:
There are some instances that the UPS may refuse to turn on even though it is plugged into the AC outlet. It could be that the UPS does not like the power it is getting. In this case, we can apply the Cold start procedure.
To perform a Cold Start on a Smart-UPS SURT15KVA and SURT20KVA , you may follow the procedure below:
- Make sure that the UPS is completely off and there is no AC input.
- Make sure the battery is connected (see image below, Figure A)

3. Ensure that the Power View display is also connected (see image below FIGURE B:)

4. Push and hold the “On” button on the UPS, located on the front panel or rear panel, and release it once the PowerView display responds or indicates a light (See images below "FIGURE C and D" to locate the Cold Start button).

5. Go to the Control Panel or the Power View display to activate the UPS or to power the load using the battery source (There will be output voltage while the UPS is running on battery ). See below FIGURE E:
