Setting Up a Default Gateways for SCADAPack x70

When configuring IP communication in RemoteConnect, only one Default Gateway IP Address can be configured for a SCADAPack x70. However, this does not prevent the use of different communication paths.

The SCADAPack x70 supports a single default gateway and multiple static routes. The default gateway is only used when no other route can be determined for a destination IP address. To direct traffic through different Ethernet interfaces, configure the IP Routing Table under the Ethernet port settings.

By defining static routes, the SCADAPack can determine whether traffic should be sent through Ethernet 1 or Ethernet 2 based on the destination network. The routing rules should be properly defined and non-conflicting to ensure traffic is routed through the intended interface.
