How to protect the network file after it is discovered and adjusted with ConnexView.

Resolution
Changes to the 'ConnexView' network discovery file can be prevented by write protecting it.

This can be performed by:

• Locate the network file in the 'C:\Program Files\Schneider Electric\ConneXview\networks.' folder

• Right Click on the filename.
• Select 'Properties'.

• Change the attributes in the 'General' tab to 'Read only' by selecting the checkbox.
• Click on 'OK' to close the window.

Note: The user can still change the network in 'ConnexView' but they will not be able to save the changes.
An 'unable to save network' message will appear when they try to save it.
