What replaced the XPSAX safety relays? What are the differences between XPSAX and the XPSAC?
NOTE - The XPSAX range was initially replaced by XPSAC, which has itself now been replaced by XPSBAC. You'll find a document attached to this FAQ detailing the changes from XPSAC to XPSBAC.  If you are replacing the XPSAX with the latest XPSBAC, you will need to follow the changes from XPSAX to XPSAC, then to XPSBAC to ensure your wiring is correct.

The main differences are as follows:

  • XPSAC has a solid state output for PLC signaling
  • XPSAX has one additional N/C output
  • XPSAC has larger range of supply voltage selection
  • XPSAC has choice between 2 models with or without removable plug terminals (Add 'P' to the end of the part number)
