Sometimes it occurs where people install the CT the wrong way around on these meters.
This results in you getting a negative reading on the meter display, as the meter thinks the current is flowing in the opposite direction than it actually is.
Therefore, if you follow this instructional video you can actually reverse the polarity so that the meter sees the SUPPLY IN to P2 and OUT of P1 to the LOAD instead of SUPPLY IN to P1 and OUT of P2 to the load
This saves the installer having to remove the cables and physically turn the CT around.
