To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Foundation, in collaboration with Ashoka, has launched the “Youth Innovation for a Sustainable Future” call for projects, selecting 25 social entrepreneurs across the world.

We’re on a mission to make a difference, one community at a time. Since 1956, the Schneider Electric™ North America Foundation has supported nonprofits across the continent that align with our values, creating a better world for the next generation.
The Foundation aids more than 1,700 nonprofits each year, focusing its efforts on four key areas:
- Energy equity
- STEM education
- Inclusion & Care
- Disaster relief
Foundation commitments 2025
1 million
50,000

Everyone deserves a safe, secure environment. Schneider actively partners with Habitat for Humanity and the American Red Cross, among other organizations, to support this goal. In 2020, we celebrated a 20-year partnership with Habitat. Since the beginning, Schneider has donated more than $50 million to the organization.

As technology continues to rapidly evolve, it’s important for younger generations to have early exposure and education around STEM subjects. Schneider partners with FIRST Robotics, TryEngineering, and more to prepare the innovators of the future.

One of Schneider’s IMPACT values is “Inclusion.” We support organizations including the National Society of Black Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, and American Corporate Partners, which helps veterans transition to a civilian workforce.
Schneider employees champion organizations with important meaning to them, including the Special Olympics, National Down Syndrome Society, and more.

We believe that energy is a basic human right. Through partnerships with the Footprint Project and Grid Alternatives, we’re striving toward a goal to make clean energy affordable and available to everyone.
Our partnership with Habitat for Humanity is focused not only on providing homes for those in need but providing equitable energy resources within those homes.

The Foundation partners with organizations that are meaningful to our employees. We have programs to support their efforts, whether they donate time or financial resources:
- Dollars for Doers provides $25 for every hour volunteered
- The Matching Gift program provides a one-to-one match on each dollar donated
- Newly hired employees receive $25 to donate to a nonprofit of their choice
- Grants support employee events and board service
