Does the side cover of the RDB Nema 3R trough come off the same as the old style RD duct?

Issue:
Are there similarities with the old Rain trough and new Raintrough side covers?

The new and the old duct are very similar in the way the side cover mounts. They slide under the top drip hood and then screw into the bottom edge
