Resolution:
The quick flange is installed in the switchgear at the factory where all electrical connections are made. The quick flange (QF) resides completely inside of the gear making transportation of the gear possible. The flanged end is shipped separately to the job site and the contractor must install it and also make all of the internal electrical connections. The flanged end (FE) extends 10 inches above the top of the gear.
