Can an HVL switch be laid down on its back to get it in or out of a tight location?

Resolution:
Yes, it will be OK to lay the switch down on its back to remove it for inspection.
It would be best not to lay it on the side. This might cause some mis-alignment issues.
This was an unfused HVL switch with nothing else in it.
If other items or heavy items were installed, them some bracing should be done.
