Does the N400M NF panel 400a main breaker adapter kit use an LAL type breaker or a LAP type?

Main breaker accepted by the N400M MB adaptor kit in an NF Panelboard

Resolution:
The load side lugs must be removed from the LAL breaker or just use the LAP breaker.
NOTE: The breaker must be ordered with the MB suffix to obtain the shorter handle. Otherwise, there is  a chance the main breaker handle might hit the panel door when it is closed.
