Resolution:
The 800 and 1200amp Heavy Duty Safety Switches are marked as 'Suitable for use as Service Equipment', by installing per the National Electrical Code(NEC) requirements.
Also, check the NEC to determine if ground fault protection is required, based on the applicable voltage system. If ground fault protection is required for the installation, then the safety switch CANNOT be used since it does not include or have provisions for ground fault protection.
NOTE: IF A SOLID NEUTRAL IS REQUIRED, ORDER THE APPROPRIATE NEUTRAL FOR THE SWITCH CATALOG NUMBER.
a) Solid neutral for the 800amp switches is catalog number H800SNE4
b) Solid neutral for the 1200amp switches is catalog number H1200SNE4
