Are the EZM branch devices suitable for top endwall and bottom sidewall exit and entry of load wires?
Issue:
Product Design Features

Product Line:
EZM Metering

Resolution:
Yes, the wiring diagrams of the EZM branch devices will state:
"For conduit entry above current carrying or live parts, use UL listed raintight or liquidtight hubs or fittings. But most of the EZM branch devices DO NOT contain knockouts in the top endwall and will require field cut/punched holes.
Also, the wiring diagram states "Unused main bus bar openings must be closed by closing plate removed from the load side of main device".

NOTE: For exiting the bottom side walls, the installer should verify with the local AHJ (code) to ensure there would not be any code issues and to use common sense, especially if they know that future metering might be added that do NOT exit a side wall.
