Does the ATV61 or ATV71 have the COS (cosine, power factor) parameter?
The Altivar 61 and Altivar 71 do not include a COS Phi (power factor) parameter, and there is no direct setting for power factor adjustment in these drive families.
For proper motor performance, ensure that all motor nameplate parameters are correctly set in Menu 1.4 – Motor Control (drc).
Run an auto‑tune afterward, verify that the motor is cold before performing the auto‑tuning procedure to ensure accurate measurement.
