On a U-line starter, how does the auto reset work?
Issue:
How does the auto reset function works on a Tesys U motor starter?
Product Line:
IEC Contactors and Starters
Environment:
Tesys U Starters
Resolution:
In Auto Reset mode, the U-line starter (with an Advanced Control Unit and the LUFDA10 function module) operating handle remains in the "ready" position but the coil is de-energized and the power poles open on an overload. After a motor cool-down, the unit resets and the power poles close. Proper wiring is essential
On a short circuit fault, the handle moves and the device will have to be manually reset.
