What is the mounting clearance on the Energy Efficient Transformers?

Cause:
Transformers radiate heat when in operation, which must be dissipated

Resolution:

Older Transformers had specified a 6 inch clearance from any obstruction from the front and rear ventilated opening. The EE Transformer clearance has been reduced to 3 inches of clearance from any obstruction from the front and rear ventilated opening.

Newer Energy Efficient (EX Type or EXN Type) require .5" from rear and sides to any obstruction. Front Clearance for ventilated opening is 6 inches (must meet minimum code access requirements).
