The customer is looking at XPSMC32Z, does this require any programming?

Yes, it does. Customer must configure the inputs and outputs. Ie, the inputs are configured as e-stops, gate guards, light curtains, etc. The outputs are configured as to which inputs will control them, etc. They will need to order part number XPSMCWIN software to program.
