The SDSA1175 can be used in both Residential and Commercial applications. However, a Commercial application may require a higher AIC rating or peak surge rating than the SDSA1175 provides. Also, most commercial applications have motor, computer, or electronic loads where a TVSS unit like the HEPD, XR or HWA would be better suited and provide more protection.
