What class of fuse do ALL the 600 A general duty safety switches use?

Issue:

Product Design Features

Product Line:
General Duty Safety Switches

Resolution:
The 600 A general duty safety switches accept Class H or K fuses as standard. Options include Class R fuses (field install Class R fuse kit DRK600) and Class T fuses (ONLY for the D326NT and D326NTR). With Class H or K fuses installed, the switch is UL listed for use on systems with up to 10 kA available fault current. With Class R fuses (and DRK600 fuse kit installed), the switch is UL listed for use on systems with up to 100 kA available fault current. For the switches that accept the Class T fuses, the switch is UL listed for use on systems with up to 100 kA available fault current.

NOTE: DO NOT USE RENEWABLE LINK FUSES IN SQUARE D SAFETY SWITCHES. The use of renewable link fuses may adversely affect user safety, impair reliability, and will void the warranty.
