Can an NF panel Series E1 with a Factory installed 400 amp LAL36400 Main breaker, be converted to a Main lug panel?

Can an NF panel with these characteristics be converted to a Main lug panel?

The main breaker kit should remain in place so the panel will utilize the same box and trim. The following parts will be required per panel:
(1) NFALM4 Main Lug Kit
(1) cover plate for the main breaker dead front
NOTE: THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE INTERIORS SUPPLIED W/ AN LC MAIN BREAKER.
Note: Revision 05/2017:
A cover plate for the hole in the main breaker dead front, formerly part number 80103-079-02, is obsolete and no longer available. Consider having a local metal fabricator custom-make something to replace it.
