How many preset speeds are supported by Altivar 61 and Altivar 71 drives?

The Altivar 61 and Altivar 71 drives support up to 16 preset speeds, including the low-speed setting.

You can configure preset speeds in the following menu paths:

• Menu 1.7 – Application Functions > Preset Speeds
• Menu 1.3 – Settings

Available configuration options include:

• 2 preset speeds (PS2)
• 4 preset speeds (PS4)
• 8 preset speeds (PS8)
• 16 preset speeds (PS16)

Preset speeds can be activated in two ways:

• Using logic inputs (digital inputs)
• Via communication signals (bit control)
