How can I tell if the internal bypass contactor is closed on an ATS22 soft starter?
Resolution:
You can confirm that the internal bypass contactor is closed using either remote or local indication methods:
Remote Indication:
- Assign one of the available relays to the “Run” function.
- When the bypass contactor closes, the relay energizes.
- The relay’s dry contact can then be used in your control circuit to provide a remote status signal.
Local Indication:
- Check the RUN indicator LED located above the display.
- The yellow LED remains steadily ON when the internal bypass contactor is closed.
