How is a 4-20mA speed reference signal set up on an ATV71/ATV61?
Issue:
Setting up a 4-20mA signal to an ATV71/ATV61 drive.
Product Line:
ATV61 and ATV71
Environment:
All serial numbers for ATV61 and ATV71
Cause:
Using a 4-20mA signal for speed reference
Resolution:
Wire the 4-20mA analog input to AI2 and COM
Go to menu 1.5 INPUTS/OUTPUTS CFG, submenu AI2 Configuration
Set AI2 Type to Current
Set AI2 Min Value to 4mA and Max Value to 20mA
Go to Menu 1.6 COMMAND
Set Ref 1 Channel or Ref 2 Channel to AI2 (if using Ref 2 channel you'll need a logic input assigned to Reference Switching)
Or in Menu 1.7 Application Funct and configure Reference 1B switching and 1B channel (This is set by default in the ATV61, If using Ref 2 channel, you must set Ref 1b Channel to NO)
