How is Accumulated Power Consumption (APH) calculated on ATV61 and ATV71 drives?
The APH (Accumulated Power Consumption) value is calculated based on the motor's electrical consumption as measured by the drive, using parameters such as motor current and motor voltage.
Because the measurement represents the electrical power supplied to the motor, it includes the motor's mechanical losses.
The drive does not measure reactive power when calculating APH. As a result, the estimated accuracy of the APH value is approximately 10%. Losses within the variable speed drive (VSD) are considered insignificant relative to this level of accuracy.
Important: APH is intended as an estimated energy-consumption value. It is not recommended for electrical billing or other applications requiring revenue-grade energy measurement.
