What can cause the secondary control power transformer fuse to blow on an enclosed drive?


Resolution:

  • Start by removing all of the customers external wiring like auto start command etc.
  • Isolate if the short is coming from what position Hand or auto mode and check control relay coils and contactor coils for shorts.
  • Any short circuit on the control circuit can trigger the CPT fuse to open you have to isolate the circuit to pinpoint the short.
