What Is the Replacement for the ATV31 Drive Series?
Resolution:
The ATV31 series has been discontinued and replaced by newer generations of Altivar drives.
The replacement path is:
ATV31 → ATV312 → ATV320
The ATV320 is the current replacement for most ATV31 drive applications (excluding ATV31W models). It provides enhanced performance, additional features, and ongoing product support.
When replacing an ATV31 drive, review the application requirements and compare the original drive ratings to select the appropriate ATV320 model.
