What product line replaces the Class 8839 PowerGard CPA CPC CPD 18-pulse drives?

Resolution:
The PowerGard 18-pulse drive product line is obsolete.  The ATV680 and ATV980 product lines are the functional replacements. These are Active Front End units rather than the older, antiquated 18 pulse style systems.

The ATV680 and ATV980 AFE systems have a smaller footprint, produce less heat, weigh much less as the 18 pulse transformer is not needed, and provide a higher level of harmonic mitigation than the 18 pulse systems.

If you must have an 18 pulse system, they can still be built around the ATV630 or ATV930 series drive.  These are considered a custom build so you will need to contact your local distributor to start the build process for this drive.
