What can cause an OHF or overheating fault on the ATS46 soft starters?

Issue:
ATS46 soft starters overheating.

Cause:
The soft starter is overheating

Resolution:
OHF is an overheating fault.  Power down the soft starter and let it cool down.   Power back up and if the fault clears run the soft starter.  If the fault comes back up then you may have a bad thermal sensor or main control board. All of these parts are all now obsoleted.  Would suggest to replace the ATS46 series soft starter  with a ATS48 soft starter.
